Steps to making your very own butterfly!!!

Supplies: 1 coffee filter, a clothes pin, and a pipe cleaner (cut in half)
Step 1- Flatten the coffee filter and color it.
Step 2- Pinch the center of the coffee filter.

Step 3- Place pinched coffee filter in center of pin.
Step 4- Add pipe cleaner. VIOLA, now you have a butterfly!

We made these in library group and enjoyed it so much that we have made flock of them. ENJOY!

I have pictures to post today, but I have yet to figure out how to get them properly sized. Kevin wrote some software that automatically does it for me as I load the pics from my camera to the computer, but we have not installed it on the computer yet.

It is all damp and rainy outside, so I am sure we will be doing lots of indoor craft projects today. I went to Sam's Wholesale over the weekend and had oodles of boxes leftover, so we made "robots" out of them. They are pretty funny. The hard part is that I need to convince Mimi that they need to be broken down and recycled at some point.

We have decided to help out the economy with the stimulus package check we will be getting. We are getting a kid's drum set. And we are going to participate in Baby Toolkit's Heifer Project team! What a fabulous idea! Go here and check it out.

Moving forward

I have been absent from the blogging scene for a bit, and now I am BACK! I pulled my blog to private and quit posting because of a comment posted on my last entry. I am aware it is still there, and it will continue to be there. It needs to remain there for Google to investigate.
