Pay it forward....

In May most of us will be getting a check from the government to encourage spending and thus stimulate the economy. I won't go over where the money is coming from or if I agree with our government taking out a loan to do this. Instead I would like to talk about what we can do with this money. I have seen polls that show most Americans are planning to pay down bills with it and save it. I doubt this is what most Americans will do since Americans aren't typically known to be savers. So what I propose is that we all "pay it forward" in some way. I really like Heifer International, which is a non profit organization whose "goal is to end world hunger and poverty through self reliance...."
