Yeah, Moe has been stuck on top bunk. He is a little worried about climbing down the ladder. A couple times I have had to help him negotiate that first couple steps down. Mimi loves the bunk beds and feels like a big girl. I am shocked at how much smaller they make a room look, but I remember how much fun bunk beds were as kids.

This head board and foot board were Kevin's from childhood. He said he never wanted the kids to use them. They have metal rails that run lengthwise down the sides. He has scars from running into them and jumping down on them. We solved the issue with a noodle! We put a vertical slit in it and slid it over the rail. It has stayed on and protected little legs!

(Angel, he saw this picture and said "there is my favorite blanket. I lost it last night!)

I am a sucker for these sorts of kits:

I managed to get several and I am going to work on them tonight. They make pillows. One thing I really like is that there are girl astronauts! How awesome!

Finally. I recovered a chair. It looks better in person. This fabric is luxurious. It really is. It was a remnant piece and I loved it. It has little ferns on it...I don't think the detail is obvious in this photo. Anyway, it goes in our bedroom and now I can sit and read. I hate to lay down and read. Now I got a sitting chair! LOL! :)

Alright. I guess I should go. My house is a wreck. We are spring cleaning. Actually it is more like de cluttering. We are getting rid of a lot of stuff. I am amazed at how much I have held onto. I still had baby bumpers from the crib. Need I say more?
Have a great week!
