Last night Kevin and I watched a documentary on Darfur . Please go to your local library and check it out:

The genocide in Darfur has claimed 400,000 lives and displaced over 2,500,000 people. More than one hundred people continue to die each day; five thousand die every month.
Go here and see what our elected government officials are doing about this. And tell them this is important to you and your family. Remind them we promised "Never again" after the Holocaust.

I need to learn more about that. My son talks about it sometimes. Sounds horrid. On a lighter note, I received THE most adorable little bird in the mail today! I am in love with it! Did you make it? The colors are my favorite..it totally matches the countertop I want for my kitchen redo..weird ha?
