Sorry for the bad lighting here, but it is hard to get a pic of a superhero!
I hacked together a couple capes for Mimi and Moe. By hacked, I mean I ACTUALLY sat down at the sewing machine and sewed. Hard to believe? Well, if you examine the capes closely you will believe me! They are faaaar from perfect!
It was a lot of fun seeing them run around and pretend fly. I have plenty of scraps left, so I think I may make a couple more. Visitors need capes too!

no, i made them all by myself. trust me-they look better in the pictures than in person! i am NOT a good sewer. i blame my machine, but i am sure the blame lies with me.
i figure the kids won't notice all the imperfections!
one of the best presents my son received was a set of three capes from his aunt - blue, red and black. he can dress up as any superhero now. your capes are great, and i'm sure your kids love them and will never notice the imperfections you see.
