Not much going on here. We can't complain. We are getting the gardens ready to plant. We are quietly resisting the urge to plant early. Mother's Day tends to be the rule in this area.

Our main garden is looking good.

My squash garden. I really cannot wait to get this one going!

I really love the grooves in the yard from all the swinging! The swing set has been a huge plus in our lives.
Hope everyone is having a great week.

Love your kiddos! Love them on the swings! When are we going to get our kids together again? So glad I have been getting to see you more often, but I look fwd to getting together to play, too!
We have grooves under our swingset, as well. I don't mind so much the mud. But I do have a bit of guilt about protective surfaces (not that I had any around our backyard swingset growing up). My friends down the block (one of which has done ER nursing work for yrs -- both are pretty tuned in to child safety things) have recommended something from Rural King that I might purchase. I think it's a rubber mat for horses to exercise upon. But for $35 it seems to be a relatively cheap solution to protecting our wee ones when they're horsing around in the backyard!
Hooray for spring & for backyard play! Give Miles & Amelia kisses from me 'til I get to see 'em myself again!!!
