The dog days of summer are gone!

Our dog loves it when Moe eats ice cream.....

Summer is almost over. :(

I like Fall. Soup! Chili! Sweaters! Hot tea! But, I dread being trapped in the house! I hate that feeling. No matter the temp, we are going outside! My kids will be bundled up like that poor kid on "A Christmas Story."

Mimi wants to take karate classes. I said I would look into it....a week ago. So, maybe I will do it today. She is so independent. I love her willingness to take things on by herself, but she gets so frustrated. She holds herself to high standards.

Moe is into climbing. He is climbing everything, and it is scary. He is also potty training himself. I am not encouraging it much. I am not ready for him to be potty trained. He is also really into cars. He likes to make them wreck.

I haven't done much in the way of crafting. I need to get back into some projects. I tried to crochet a shawl, but could never get it right, so I pulled all of it out......The annoying thing about the patterns is that they are rated. The shawl pattern, for instance, says "EASY." So, if you can't do it, you feel like a dunce! UGH!

This weekend we are planning nothing! I want to rest. Last weekend was a lot of work! I have 5 or so books I want to read...Maybe I will settle on one, and dive in!
